Removal & Installation (2.5L)

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the MAF sensor electrical harness connector. Remove the air cleaner case and air duct assembly. See MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR .
- Disconnect the throttle position sensor control electrical harness connector, on the electric throttle control actuator. See Figure.
- See illustration for removal and installation of electric throttle control actuator. See Figure.
- Installation is the reverse of removal. Replace gasket with a new one. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
