A/C Switch: Removal

  1. Remove cluster Lid "C". See Figure.
    • Pull lid toward rear of vehicle.
    • Disconnect electrical connectors.
  2. Remove audio unit.
    • Remove cluster Lid "D". Remove screw using power tool. See Figure.
    • Pull lid towards rear of vehicle to release clips.
  3. Remove audio unit screws using power tool and slide audio unit forward. See Figure.
  4. Disconnect connectors and antenna cable and then remove audio unit.
  5. To install, reverse removal procedure.
  6. Remove the temperature control cable clamp and then remove the cable from the air mix door lever. See Figure.
  7. Remove the A/C control unit screws and then remove it from the instrument panel. See Figure.
  8. Disconnect the A/C control unit connectors and then remove the A/C control unit.
