Removal & Installation (3.5L)

- Remove the engine cover with power tool.
- Drain engine coolant.
- Disconnect the mass air flow sensor electrical connector and remove the air cleaner assembly and air intake tubes.
- Remove the windshield wiper arms and motor assembly and the front cowl panel.
- Remove the intake manifold collector, gasket, and throttle body.
- Remove the six ignition coils. See Fig 1.
- Remove spark plug with suitable tool. See Fig 1.
- Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Tighten components to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
