Security Indicator Light Does Not Illuminate

- Inspect fuse No. 12 (10-amp) in junction block fuse block. Replace as needed. If fuse is okay, go to next step.
- Perform ignition key programming. See IMMU INITIALIZATION under PROGRAMMING. Turn ignition switch off. Start engine and then turn ignition switch off. If security indicator light is illuminated, system is functioning correctly. If security indicator light is not illuminated, go to next step.
- Disconnect security indicator light connector. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 1 (Red/Black wire) on security indicator light harness connector. If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, inspect and repair Red/Black wire for open or short.
- Inspect security indicator light bulb. Replace as needed. If bulb is okay, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Ensure IMMU harness connector is connected. Disconnect security indicator light harness connector. Check continuity between ground and terminal No. 5 (Gray/Red wire) on IMMU harness connector. See Figure . If continuity is intermittent, inspect and repair Gray/Red wire for open or short. If continuity is not intermittent, replace IMMU.
