Diagnostic Procedure No. 3: Procedure

Perform ignition key programming. See IMMU INITIALIZATION  under PROGRAMMING. If initialization is not completed or fails, CONSULT message will be INITIALIZATION FAIL - THEN IGN KEY SW 'OFF' AND 'ON', AFTER CONFIRMING SELF-DIAG AND PASSWORD, PERFORM C/U INITIALIZATION AGAIN. Attempt to start engine. If engine starts, system is functioning correctly. If engine does not start, replace IMMU and perform initialization using CONSULT.
