Door Mirror Remote Control Switch (Changeover Switch) Circuit Check

- CHECK FUNCTION
With CONSULT-II
Check operation with "MIR CHNG SW - R, MIR CHNG SW - L" on the DATA MONITOR to make sure pulse changes.

Without CONSULT-II
- Turn ignition switch to ACC.
- Check voltage between automatic drive positioner control unit connector and ground.
OK or NG
- OK: Door mirror remote control switch (changeover switch) circuit is OK.
- NG: GO TO 2.
- CHECK DOOR MIRROR REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH CIRCUIT HARNESS CONTINUITY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect automatic drive positioner control unit and door mirror remote control switch.
- Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit connector M41 terminals 2, 18 and door mirror remote control switch connector M251 (early production) or M7 (late production) terminals 2, 3.
2 (LG/R) - 3 (LG/R): Continuity should exist.
18 (L) - 2 (L/R) (early production): Continuity should exist
18 (L) - 2 (L) (late production): Continuity should exist.
- Check continuity between driver seat control unit connector M41 terminals 2, 18 and ground.
2 (LG/R) - Ground: Continuity should not exist.
18 (L) - Ground: Continuity should not exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 3.
- NG: Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK DOOR MIRROR REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH (CHANGEOVER SWITCH)
Check continuity between door mirror remote control switch as follows.

OK or NG
- OK: Check the condition of the harness and the connector.
- NG: Replace door mirror remote control switch.
