Rear Window Defogger Signal Check

  1. CHECK REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER SWITCH LAMP 

    Unified meter and A/C amp. self-diagnosis is executed.

    Does rear window defogger switch light? 

    OK or NG

    • OK: GO TO 2.
    • NG: Replace unified meter and A/C amp.
  2. CHECK AV COMMUNICATION LINE 

    Check AV communication line. Refer to AV COMMUNICATION LINE CHECK .

    Is rear window defogger displayed on the display? 

    OK or NG

    • OK: GO TO 3.
    • NG: Replace display control unit.
  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE 

    CAN communication line check is executed. Refer to AV COMMUNICATION LINE CHECK

    OK or NG

    • OK: Check the condition of the harness and the connector.
    • NG: In addition, it is necessary to check CAN communication line. Refer to AV COMMUNICATION LINE CHECK .
