CONSULT-II Setting Procedure

CAUTION: If CONSULT-II is used with no connection of CONSULT-II CONVERTER, malfunctions might be detected in self-diagnosis depending on control unit which carry out CAN communication.
  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2. Connect CONSULT-II and CONSULT-II CONVERTER to data link connector, which is located in left side dash panel.

  3. Turn ignition switch ON.
  4. Touch "START (NISSAN BASED VHCL)".

  5. Touch "A/T".

    If "A/T" is not indicated, go to "CONSULT-II DATA LINK CONNECTOR (DLC) CIRCUIT ".

  6. Touch "DATA MONITOR".

  7. Touch "MAIN SIGNALS" or "TCM INPUT SIGNALS".

  8. See "Numerical Display", "Barchart Display" or "Graph Display".
  9. Touch "SETTING" to set recording condition "AUTO TRIG" or "MANU TRIG" and touch "BACK".
  10. Touch "Start".

  11. When performing cruise test, touch "RECORD".

  12. After finishing cruise test part 1, touch "STOP".

  13. Touch "STORE" and touch "BACK".

  14. Touch "DISPLAY".
  15. Touch "PRINT".
  16. Check the monitor data printed out.

  17. Continue cruise test part 2 and 3.
