Output Shaft, Idler Gear, Reduction Pinion Gear and Bearing Retainer: Assembly

Press reduction pinion gear bearing inner race on reduction pinion gear.

Install reduction pinion gear bearing outer race on transaxle case.

Press idler gear bearing inner race on idler gear.

Install idler gear bearing outer race on transaxle case.

Press output shaft bearing on output shaft.

Press needle bearing on bearing retainer.

Install snap ring to bearing retainer.
CAUTION: Do not expand snap ring excessively.

After packing ring grooves with petroleum jelly, carefully install new seal rings on output shaft and bearing retainer.
CAUTION:
- Apply petroleum jelly.

- Roll paper around seal rings to prevent seal rings from spreading.
