Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Disconnect both battery terminals.
  1. Remove sun visor assemblies.
    • Disconnect harness from each sun visor assembly.
  2. Remove sun visor holders.
  3. Remove front assembly.
    • Disconnect harnesses from sunroof switch assembly.
  4. Remove sunroof welt.
  5. Remove defrost grille assembly. Refer to "INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY ".
  6. Remove front pillar finishers. Refer to "BODY SIDE TRIM ".
  7. Remove front kicking plates and door welts. Refer to "BODY SIDE TRIM ".
  8. Remove center pillar assist grips. Refer to "BODY SIDE TRIM ".
  9. Remove assist grips from headlining.
  10. Remove sliding door kicking plates and door welts. Refer to "BODY SIDE TRIM ".
  11. Remove center pillar seat belt anchors. Refer to "SEAT BELTS ".
  12. Remove center pillar lower finishers. Refer to "BODY SIDE TRIM ".
    • Disconnect harness from door open/close switch.
  13. Remove center pillar upper finishers. Refer to "BODY SIDE TRIM ".
  14. Remove tailgate kicking plate assembly. Refer to "FLOOR TRIM ".
  15. Remove lower quarter trim. Refer to "BODY SIDE TRIM ".
  16. Remove roof finisher. Refer to "BODY SIDE TRIM ".
  17. Remove seat belt D rings from rear center pillar finishers and rear upper finishers. Refer to "SEAT BELTS ".
  18. Remove front and rear upper quarter trim. Refer to "BODY SIDE TRIM ".
  19. Remove front and rear roof console assemblies.
    NOTE: Release clips from the rear of the rear roof console assembly.
  20. Remove lower rear console bracket.
  21. Remove rear audio control assembly.
    • Disconnect harness from audio control.
  22. Remove HVAC control assembly.
    • Disconnect harnesses from HVAC control.
  23. Disconnect rear washer hose from headlining.
  24. Remove headlining.
  25. Remove the front roof console bracket.
  26. Remove rear roof console front bracket.
  27. Remove rear roof console upper bracket.
  28. Remove assist grip brackets from roof.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
