Checking Fluid Level

Check the power steering fluid level in the reservoir tank with the engine off.

Use the "HOT" range or the "COLD" range fluid temperatures.

"HOT" range PSF temperature: 50° - 80° C (122° - 176° F) 

"COLD" range PSF temperature: 0° - 30° C (32° - 86° F) 

CAUTION:
  • Do not overfill the power steering reservoir tank.
  • Do not reuse any used power steering fluid.

  • Use the recommended power steering fluid, Genuine NISSAN PSF or equivalent. Refer to "RECOMMENDED FLUIDS AND LUBRICANTS ".
