Personal Lamp Control Does Not Operate

- CHECK EACH DOOR SWITCH
Select "BCM" on CONSULT-II. With "INT LAMP" data monitor, make sure switches listed in display item list turn ON-OFF linked with switch operation. Refer to "SWITCH OPERATION " for switches and their function.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 2.
- NG: Inspect malfunctioning door switch.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP INPUT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect personal lamp connector.
- Open the rear door.
- Check voltage between personal lamp harness connector R13 terminal 2 (R/G) and ground.

- Battery voltage should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 4 .
- NG: GO TO 3.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between BCM harness connector M19 terminal 41 (R/G) and personal lamp harness connector R13 terminal 2 (R/G).

- Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: Replace BCM if personal lamp does not work after setting the connector again. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF BCM .
- NG: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP AND INTERIOR ROOM LAMP CIRCUIT
- Disconnect interior room lamp connector.
- Check continuity between personal lamp harness connector R13 terminals 4 (W/B) and 6 (Y/O) and interior room lamp harness connector R14 terminal 5 (Y/V).Fig 4: Checking Continuity Between Personal Lamp Harness Connector Terminals And & Interior Room Lamp

- Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: Replace personal lamp.
- NG: Repair harness or connector.
