Rear Wiper Stop Position Is Incorrect

- CHECK COMBINATION SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
Select "BCM" on CONSULT-II. With "WIPER" data monitor, make sure "RR WIPER STOP" turns ON-OFF according to wiper operation.
When wiper switch is OFF: RR WIPER STOP OFF
OK or NG
- OK: Replace BCM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF BCM ".
- NG: GO TO 2.
- CHECK REAR WIPER MOTOR CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect BCM connector and rear wiper motor connector.
- Check continuity between BCM harness connector M20 terminal 59 (BR) and rear wiper motor harness connector D507 terminal P (BR).
Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 3.
- NG: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK REAR WIPER MOTOR SHORT CIRCUIT
Check continuity between rear wiper motor harness connector D507 terminal P (BR) and ground.
Continuity should not exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 4.
- NG: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between rear wiper motor harness connector D507 terminal E (B) and ground.
Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 5.
- NG: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK AUTO STOP SIGNAL
- Connect BCM connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between rear wiper motor harness connector D507 terminal P (BR) and ground.
Battery voltage should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: Replace BCM. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF BCM ".
- NG: Replace rear wiper motor. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF REAR WIPER MOTOR ".
