Intake Door Motor Circuit

SYMPTOM:
- Intake door does not change.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY FOR INTAKE DOOR MOTOR
Disconnect intake door motor harness connector.
Do approx. 12 volts exist between intake door motor harness terminal Nos. 1, 2 and body ground?
Yes or No
- Yes: GO TO 3.
- No: GO TO 2.
- CHECK CIRCUIT CONTINUITY BETWEEN INTAKE DOOR MOTOR AND AIR CONTROL UNIT
Check circuit continuity between A/C control unit harness terminal Nos. 10 (11) and intake door motor harness terminal Nos. 2 (1).

If OK, check harness for short.
Yes or No
- Yes: Replace A/C control unit.
- No: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK CIRCUIT CONTINUITY OF INTAKE DOOR MOTOR
Check circuit continuity between intake door motor harness terminal No. 1 and No. 2.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 4.
- NG: Replace intake door motor.
- CHECK INTAKE DOOR LINKAGE
Refer to "CONTROL LINKAGE ADJUSTMENT ".
OK or NG
- OK: INSPECTION END.
- NG: Repair or adjust.
