Door Switch Check

  1. CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL 

    With CONSULT-II 

    Check door switches ("DOOR SW-ALL") in "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.

    Without CONSULT-II 

    Check voltage between smart entrance control unit harness connector terminals 28 or 29 and ground.

    Refer to "SMART ENTRANCE CONTROL UNIT TERMINALS AND REFERENCE VALUE MEASURED BETWEEN EACH TERMINAL AND GROUND  ".

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: Door switch is OK. Check hood switch. Refer to , "TRUNK ROOM LAMP SWITCH CHECK  ".
    2. NG: GO TO 2
  2. CHECK DOOR SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect door switch connector.
    2. Check continuity between door switch terminals.

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: Check the following.
      • Door switch ground circuit (Front, rear door) or door switch ground condition
      • Harness for open or short between smart entrance control unit and door switch
    2. NG: Replace door switch.
