14. Lock-up Is Not Released

SYMPTOM: 

Lock-up is not released when accelerator pedal is released. 

  1. CHECK THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH CIRCUIT 

    With CONSULT-II 

    Does "TCM INPUT SIGNALS" in "DATA MONITOR" show damage to closed throttle position switch circuit?

    Without CONSULT-II 

    Does self-diagnosis show damage to closed throttle position switch circuit?

    Yes or No 

    1. Yes: Check closed throttle position switch circuit. Refer to "DTC P0705 PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION (PNP) SWITCH ".
    2. No: GO TO 2.

  2. CHECK SYMPTOM 

    Check again.

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: INSPECTION END 
    2. NG:
      1. Perform TCM input/output signal inspection. See INPUT/OUTPUT SIGNAL OF TCM .
      2. If NG, recheck TCM pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
