DTC Confirmation Test "B"

NOTE: For best results, perform test at temperatures above 41°F (5°C). Before performing test, confirm that battery voltage is 10 volts or more at idle, then turn ignition off.

Turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds. Turn ignition on. Select COOLAN TEMP/S in DATA MONITOR with scan tool. If engine coolant temperature is 104°F (40°C) or more, allow engine to cool and repeat test. Start engine and wait until engine coolant temperature increases to more than 131°F (55°C). If first trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE "B" .
