DTC Confirmation Test "A"

NOTE:
Perform the DTC confirmation test "A" first. If first trip DTC cannot be confirmed, perform DTC confirmation test "B". If first trip DTC cannot be confirmed, perform DTC confirmation test "C". If a DTC confirmation test has been previously performed, turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before performing next DTC confirmation test.
Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR mode on CONSULT-II or generic scan tool. Wait 5 seconds. If first trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE "A" .
