Possible Cause

ECM illuminates MIL and sets DTC P1110 or P1135 when the alignment of the intake valve timing control has been misregistered. Possible causes are the following:
- Crankshaft position sensor (POS).
- Camshaft position sensor (PHASE).
- Accumulation of debris to the signal pick-up portion of the camshaft.
