Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Start engine and allow to idle. Check for vacuum leak after MAF sensor. If no problem is found, go to next step. If problem is found, repair as necessary. After repair, repeat DTC CONFIRMATION TEST .
  2. Replace ECM. See ENGINE CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT  under ENGINE CONTROL MODULE. Perform appropriate procedures under PROGRAMMING . If result is complete, testing is complete. After repair, repeat DTC CONFIRMATION TEST .
