Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Check fuel gauge operation. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. If no problem is found, go to next step. If problem is found, repair as necessary.
  2. Check fuel level sensor. For testing procedure, see INSPECTION/FUEL LEVEL SENSOR UNIT . If problem is found, replace fuel level sensor. After repair, repeat appropriate DTC confirmation procedure. If fuel gauge reading changed, go to next step.
  3. No problem is indicated at this time. Problem may be intermittent. See INTERMITTENTS in TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article.
