Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Check fuel gauge operation. See INSTRUMENT PANELS - PATHFINDER article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. If no problem is found, go to next step. If problem is found, repair as necessary.
  2. Check fuel level sensor. For testing procedure, see FUEL SYSTEM in SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING article. If no problem is found, go to next step. If problem is found, replace fuel level sensor. After repair, repeat DTC CONFIRMATION TEST .
  3. No problem is indicated at this time. Problem may be intermittent. See INTERMITTENTS in TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article.
