DTC Confirmation Test (Using CONSULT-II)

NOTE: If DTC confirmation procedure had been previously run, turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before continuing.
  1. Start engine and warm to operating temperature. Turn ignition off. Wait at least 10 seconds.
  2. Start engine. Allow engine to idle for 6 seconds. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
