Check Power Supply And Ground Circuit

  1. CHECK FUSES OR FUSIBLE LINK 
    • Check for blown-out fuses or fusible link.
    UNIT AND FUSE NO SPECIFICATION CHART

    Unit Power source Fuse No.
    BCM Battery j
    Battery 3
    Ignition switch ON or START position 16
    Ignition switch ACC or ON position 4

    Refer to "WIRING DIAGRAM-TURN-  ".

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: GO TO 2.
    2. NG: If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to "Power Distribution ".
  2. CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 
    1. Disconnect BCM connector.
    2. Check voltage between BCM harness connector and ground.
      TERMINAL VOLTAGE CHART

      Terminals Ignition switch position
      (+) (-) OFF ACC ON
      Connector Terminal (Wire color)
      M18 11 (V) Ground 0V Battery voltage Battery voltage
      38 (R) 0V 0V Battery voltage
      M19 42 (Y/G) Battery voltage Battery voltage Battery voltage
      55 (W/B) Battery voltage Battery voltage Battery voltage

      OK or NG 

      1. OK: GO TO 3.
      2. NG: Check harness for open between BCM and fuse.

    3. CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT 

      Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

      TERMINAL CONTINUITY CHART

      Terminals Continuity
      (+) (-)
      Connector Terminal (Wire color)
      M19 49 (B) Ground Yes
      52 (B/W)

      OK or NG 

      1. OK: INSPECTION END.
      2. NG: Check ground circuit harness.
