Removal and Installation: Removal

- Remove the windshield wiper arms and blades. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION FOR FRONT WIPER ARMS .
- Remove the cowl top. Refer to "COWL TOP ".
- Partially drain the engine cooling system.
- Remove the two heater pump clips securing the heater pump to the cowl top extension.
- Disconnect the heater pump electrical connector and the two heater hoses, then remove the heater pump.CAUTION: Do not disassemble the heater pump, replace the heater pump as an assembly.
