BCM Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check

  1. CHECK FUSE 
    • Check 10A fuse [No.1, located in fuse block (J/B)]
    • Check 50A fusible link (letter j located in the fuse and fusible link box)

    OK or NG

    1. OK: GO TO 2.
    2. NG: If fuse is blown, be sure to eliminate cause of malfunction before installing new fuse. Refer to POWER DISTRIBUTION or GROUND DISTRIBUTION .
  2. CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check voltage between BCM connector M18, M19 terminal 38, 55 and ground.
      1. 55 (W/B) - Ground: Battery voltage 
      2. 38 (R) - Ground: Battery voltage 

      OK or NG

      OK: GO TO 3.

      NG: Repair or replace harness.

  3. CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect BCM.
    3. Check continuity between BCM connector M19 terminals 49, 52 and ground.
      1. 49 (B) - Ground: Continuity should exist. 
      2. 52 (B/W) - Ground: Continuity should exist.

      OK or NG

      1. OK: BCM power supply and ground circuit is OK.
      2. NG: Repair or replace harness.
