Cinch Latch Motor System Inspection

- CINCH LATCH MOTOR SIGNAL INSPECTION
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- While fully opening and closing the sliding door, check voltage between sliding door latch control unit connector terminals 3, 9 and ground.

OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 2.
- NG: Replace the sliding door latch control unit.
- CINCH LATCH MOTOR CIRCUIT INSPECTION
- Disconnect cinch latch switch and sliding door latch control unit connector.
- Check continuity between cinch latch switch connector terminals 1, 2 and sliding door latch control unit connectors terminals 3, 9.
1 - 3: Continuity should exist.
2 - 9: Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 3.
- NG: Repair the harness between the cinch latch switch and the sliding door latch control unit.
- CINCH LATCH MOTOR OPERATION INSPECTION
Connect battery power to terminals 1 and 1 on the cinch latch motor and check motor operation.
1 (+) - 2 (-): It operates.
1 (-) - 2 (+): It operates. (Reverse rotation)
OK or NG
- OK: Motor is OK.
- NG: Replace the cinch latch motor.
