Lock-up Is Not Released

SYMPTOM: 

Lock-up is not released when accelerator pedal is released  .

  1. CHECK CLOSED THROTTLE POSITION SIGNAL AND WIDE OPEN THROTTLE POSITION SIGNAL CIRCUIT 

    With CONSULT-II 

    Does "DATA MONITOR" show damage to "CLOSED THL/SW" and "W/O THRL/P-SW" circuit?

    Without CONSULT-II 

    Does self-diagnosis show damage to closed throttle position signal and wide open throttle position signal circuit?

    Yes or No 

    1. Yes: Check closed throttle position signal and wide open throttle position signal circuit. Refer to "TCM SELF-DIAGNOSIS DOES NOT ACTIVATE ".
    2. No: GO TO 2.

  2. CHECK SYMPTOM 

    Check again.

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: INSPECTION END 
    2. NG: GO TO 3.
  3. CHECK TCM INSPECTION 
    1. perform TCM input/output signal inspection. Refer to "TCM TERMINALS AND REFERENCE VALUE ".
    2. If NG, recheck TCM pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: INSPECTION END 
    2. NG: Repair or replace damaged parts.
