Large Shock. N --> R Position

SYMPTOM: 

There is large shock when changing from N to R position  .

  1. CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS 

    Does self-diagnosis show damage to A/T fluid temperature sensor, line pressure solenoid valve or accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor circuit?

    Yes or No 

    1. Yes: GO TO 2.
    2. No: GO TO  3.
  2. CHECK DAMAGED CIRCUIT 

    Check damaged circuit.

    1. : Refer to "DTC P0710 A/T FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT ", "DTC P0745 LINE PRESSURE SOLENOID VALVE " or "DTC P1705 THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR [ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION (APP) SENSOR] ".
  3. CHECK LINE PRESSURE 

    Check line pressure at idle with selector lever in D position. Refer to "LINE PRESSURE TEST ".

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: GO TO  5.
    2. NG: GO TO 4.
  4. DETECT MALFUNCTIONING ITEM 
    1. Remove control valve assembly. Refer to "CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY AND ACCUMULATORS ".
    2. Check the following items:
      • Valves to control line pressure (Pressure regulator valve, pressure modifier valve, pilot valve and pilot filter)
      • Line pressure solenoid valve
      • Oil pump assembly

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: GO TO 5.
    2. NG: Repair or replace damaged parts.
  5. CHECK SYMPTOM 

    Check again.

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: INSPECTION END 
    2. NG: GO TO 6.
  6. CHECK TCM INSPECTION 
    1. perform TCM input/output signal inspection. Refer to "TCM TERMINALS AND REFERENCE VALUE ".
    2. If NG, recheck TCM pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.

    OK or NG 

    1. OK: INSPECTION END 
    2. NG: Repair or replace damaged parts.
