Oil Pan: Removal

  1. Remove engine RH side undercover splash shield.
  2. Drain engine oil. Refer to CHANGING ENGINE OIL .
  3. Remove front exhaust tube. Refer to QG18DE in EXHAUST SYSTEM.
  4. Remove the exhaust manifold support.
  5. Remove the engine gusset.

  6. Remove rear plate cover (lower) (A/T models).
  7. Remove oil pan.
  1. Loosen and remove nuts and bolts of oil pan in order shown.

  2. Insert Tool between cylinder block and oil pan.
    CAUTION:
    • Be careful not to damage aluminum mating face.
    • Do not insert screwdriver, or oil pan flange will be damaged.
  3. Slide Tool by tapping on the side of the Tool with a hammer.
