All Warnings Are Not Operated

1. CHECK CHIME OPERATION 

   Select "KEY WARN ALM", "LIGHT WARN ALM" or "SEAT BELT ALM" on CONSULT-II, and perform "CHIME" active test.

   Does chime sound?

   Yes: GO TO  3 .

   No: GO TO 2.

2. CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS OF BCM 

   Select "BCM" on CONSULT-II, and perform "BCM C/U" self-diagnosis.

   Self-diagnostic results content

   No malfunction detected: GO TO 3.

   CAN communication or CAN communication system: Check CAN communication system. Go to BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES afterwood, print out CONSULT-II screen.

   Diagnosis 1 - 5 systems open circuit: Malfunction in combination switch system. Go to COMBINATION SWITCH INSPECTION ACCORDING TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS "" according to self-diagnostic results.

3. CHECK BCM INPUT SIGNAL 

   Select BCM on CONSULT-II. Operate each switch with data monitor of "KEY WARN ALM", "LIGHT WARN ALM" or "SEAT BELT ALM" and check operation status of applicable switches.

   OK or NG

   OK: GO TO 4.

   NG: GO TO  5 .

4. CHECK UNIFIED METER AND A/C AMP. INPUT SIGNAL 

   Select "METER A/C AMP" on CONSULT-II. Operate switches meet the requrements to sounds warning chime with "BUZZER" of data monitor and check operation status.

   When meet the requirements to sound warning chime: BUZZER ON 

   Except above: BUZZER OFF 

   OK or NG

   OK: Replace combination meter.

   NG: Replace unified meter and A/C amp. Refer to AUTO AMP .

5. CHECK DRIVER SIDE DOOR SWITCH CIRCUIT 
   1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect BCM connector and driver side door switch connector.
   3. Check harness continuity (open circuit) between BCM harness connector B4 terminal 14 (W) and driver side door switch harness connector B17 terminal 1 (W).

      Continuity should exist. 

   4. Check continuity (short circuit) between BCM harness connector B4 terminal 14 (W) and ground.

      Continuity should not exist. 

   OK or NG

   OK: GO TO 6.

   NG: Repair harness or connector between BCM and driver side door switch.

6. CHECK DRIVER SIDE DOOR SWITCH 

   Check continuity between driver side door switch and ground.

OK or NG

OK: Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF BCM .

NG: Repair harness or connector.
