Allroad, A4, A6, A8, S4, S8 & TT

WARNING: Some vehicles are equipped with a passenger-side air bag ON/OFF switch. This switch should NOT be used in place of vehicle air bag system disabling and activating procedures.
  1. Obtain radio anti-theft code from vehicle owner and write down preset radio frequencies. To disable air bag system, ensure ignition is off and remove key. Disconnect and shield negative battery cable.
  2. To activate system, turn ignition switch to ON position. Ensure no one is inside vehicle and connect negative battery cable. Perform a system operation check to ensure proper system operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK . Input radio anti-theft security code and reset radio frequencies.
