Removal (Altima, Maxima & Sentra)
- Raise and support rear of vehicle. Release parking brake. Remove rear wheel assembly. Remove parking brake cable. See Figure-Figure .
- On Altima, remove caliper lower pin bolt and rotate caliper upward. On Maxima and Sentra, remove caliper upper pin bolt and rotate caliper downward. On all models, remove pad retainers, pads and pad shims. Note locations and condition of pads for proper installation (if reusable). Minimum pad thickness is 0.08" (2.0 mm).
