Rear Brake Pads: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Clean area around pin bolts and piston end. DO NOT damage piston boot. On Altima, Maxima, Sentra, 200SX and 240SX, retract piston into cylinder body by turning it clockwise.
  2. On all models, apply silicone brake grease to caliper sliding surfaces and pad contact area on mounting support.
