Ignition Control Module: Testing and Inspection

COMPONENT INSPECTION
Power Transistor
1. Disconnect power transistor harness connector.




2. Check power transistor resistance between terminals (2) and (8).

Terminals / Resistance / Result
(2) and (8) / Except 0 Ohms / OK
(2) and (8) / 0 Ohms / NG

If NG, replace distributor.
