Proportioning Valve, Without ABS

WARNING
This procedure is for cars without antilock brake system. If you have a car with antilock brakes, see Hydraulic System, Brake Proportioning/ Combination Valve/ Proportioning Valve, ABS.

REPLACEMENT
The control valve (proportioning valve) is built into the master cylinder. Always replace together with master cylinder, as an assembly.
