Cylinder Block Assembly: Service Precautions

Use an angle wrench for the final tightening of the connecting rod cap nuts.

CAUTION: Do not use a torque value for final tightening.

NOTE: The torque values for the parts listed are for a preliminary step. Ensure that the thread and seat surfaces are clean and coated with engine oil.
