Evaporator Core: Service and Repair

NOTE: that the evaporator core is an integrated part of the cooling unit, which is not a serviceable component and must be replaced as an assembly.
1. Discharge A/C system into an approved recovery/recycling container.
2. Remove instrument panel as outlined under "Dash Panel Service".
3. Remove cooling unit, Fig. 10.
4. Reverse procedure to install.
