Fuel Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Drain the fuel tank.
2. Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connectors.
3. Remove the fuel tank securing bolts and lower the tank slightly.
4. Remove the fuel hoses and lower the tank.
5. Remove fuel pump and gauge.


INSTALLATION
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
1. Raise the fuel tank and install the fuel hoses.
2. Secure the fuel tank and torque the bolts to 20 - 26 ft.lbs. (27 - 35 N-m).
3. Connect the electrical connectors.
