SERVICE INFORMATION

The purpose of this Service Advisory is to inform service personnel about the deletion of air mix door 2. During service, repair or replacement of the heater unit in the HVAC system, a service technician may notice the absence of air mix door 2 in vehicles built after the Applied Date listed above.

Deletion of Air Mix Door 2 from the HVAC system heater unit will not affect:

^ Air flow performance or direction
^ Operation of the heater unit or HVAC system
^ Service repair procedures
^ Control cable adjustments
^ Removal/installation of HVAC components





PLEASE NOTE:
An amendment to page HA-9 of the 1994 Truck & Pathfinder Service Manual will not be issued to update the illustration shown. Make a note in your Service Manual that the air mix door 2 is eliminated after September 1995 production. The 1996 Truck Service Manual will incorporate this change.
