SERVICE INFORMATION
If behind the back seat, the interior C-pillar finisher curls inward at the rear most lower corner, a spring clip can be installed to secure the rear lower comer of the finisher to the parcel shelf. See Figure 1.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
Install the spring clip between the finisher and the rear parcel shelf as follows. Do both sides at the same time, even if only one side is distorted.
1. Position the clip approximately 35 mm (1.38 in.) from the rear end of the C-pillar finisher.
2. Depress the rear parcel shelf finisher and slide the clip under the C-pillar finisher until the clip seats to it.
3. Continue to push the clip and C-pillar finisher outboard until the clip slides over the edge of the rear parcel shelf and hooks around it.
NOTE:
To prevent scratches, do not slide the clip forward or rearward on the C-pillar finisher.
