SERVICE INFORMATION

The SRS diagnosis sensor unit has been changed and added into production according to the Applied Date and V.I.N. number above. Because the self-diagnosis logic has changed in the new sensor unit, the 1995 Sentra/200SX Service Manual now requires a supplement. The changes affect only the RS - Trouble Diagnoses section of the service manual without CONSULT.

The difference between the old information and the new information is the logic for switching to the "Diagnosis mode" and then returning to the "User mode". Refer to Service Advisory Bulletin NTB95-072, dated August 2, 1995.

Use the information in this bulletin in conjunction with the 1995 Sentra/200SX service manual any time you have an SRS incident on a Sentra or 200SX built after the date shown above.
