COLLISION DIAGNOSIS

When SRS Is Activated In A Collision:

1. Replace the diagnosis sensor unit.
2. Remove the air bag modules.





3. Check the SRS components using the table.
4. Replace any SRS components showing visible signs of damage (dents, cracks, deformation).
5. Conduct self-diagnosis using CONSULT or "AIR BAG" warning lamp. Open circuits of air bag module will appear as problem codes. Ensure no other malfunction is detected.
6. Install new air bag modules.
7. Conduct self-diagnosis again.

When SRS Is Not Activated In A Collision:

1. Check the SRS components using the table shown below:
- Replace any SRS components showing visible signs of damage (dents, cracks, deformation).

2. Conduct self-diagnosis using CONSULT or "AIR BAG" warning lamp to ensure no malfunction is detected.
