Intake Air Plenum: Service and Repair

Intake Manifold And Collector:

Refer to illustration for removal and replacement procedure. Mark all electrical connectors for reference during installation. Thoroughly clean all sealing surfaces and replace all gaskets.

Intake Manifold And Collector Torque Sequences:

Tighten intake manifold collector to intake manifold fasteners to 16-20 N-m (12-15 ft-lb) using the torque sequence illustrated.

Throttle Chamber Torque Sequences:

Torque throttle chamber fasteners in sequence shown in image using the following specifications:
First Step: 6.5 - 8 ft-lb (9 - 11 N-m)
Second Step: 13 - 16 ft-lb (18 - 22 N-m)
