Fuel Pressure Regulator: Description and Operation

Fuel Pressure Regulator:

PURPOSE
Maintains the fuel pressure at 245 kPa (2.5 kg/cm2, 36 psi): Vacuum hose connected to regulator.

OPERATION
It utilizes vacuum acting upon a diaphragm to control the amount of fuel pressure allowed to the injectors.
