Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Testing and Inspection

MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR
1. Peel mass air flow sensor harness connector rubber as shown in the figure if the harness connector is connected.
2. Turn ignition switch "ON".
3. Start engine and warm it up sufficiently.




4. Check voltage between terminal [a] and ground.




5. If NG, remove mass air flow sensor from air duct. Check hot wire for damage or dust.
