Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument panel as outlined under Instrument Panel.
3. Remove steering column cover and steering wheel as necessary.
4. Remove instrument panel cover.
5. Remove cluster lid retaining screws and remove cluster lid.
6. Disconnect speedometer cable, cluster retaining nuts and electrical connectors as necessary. The cluster may have to be pulled slightly forward after removing the retaining screws to allow access to the electrical connectors in the rear.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
