Self Diagnostic Function

SELF DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
A warning lamp will flash on the instrument panel when a problem occurs in the ABS system. To activate ABS Self-Diagnosis, ground the self diagnosis (check) terminal located on the data link connector. Refer to Self-Diagnostic Procedures. Testing and Inspection

The location of the malfunction is indicated by the number ABS warning lamp flashes. Refer to Trouble Code Charts for warning lamp flash code identification. Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems
