The Rear wheel (R-ABS) Anti-Lock Brake system, Fig. 2, use a control unit, hydraulic actuator and wheel speed sensors to control brake fluid pressure and prevent wheel lock during severe braking conditions. With this system, directional stability is improved and steerability maintained even when panic braking on wet, sandy, snowy or icy road conditions.
