Differential Axle Housing: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Disconnect brake hydraulic line and parking brake cable.
3. Support axle with suitable jack.
4. Disconnect propeller shaft.
5. Remove upper shock absorber attaching nuts.
6. Remove front and rear leaf spring attaching bolts and nuts.
7. Lower axle assembly with jack.
8. Reverse procedure to install. When tightening rubber parts, vehicle should be in unloaded condition with tires on ground.
